Because There’s Just Nothing Else for Them to Do

The Florida State Senate makes truck testicles illegal. You can now get a moving violation, a fine, and points on your license for having them. (One variation of them are sold here, and I warn you right now that you are sure to be offended. Don’t blame me if you get there and are shocked. After all, we’re talking about plastic genetalia here.)

I s**t thee not, as Stephen Colbert might say.

Honestly, people, do they really have that little to do? If so, I say just go home and quit wasting money on the electric bills for the state legislature! It’s Earth Day, for cryin’ out loud!

Besides, think of all the hot air that wouldn’t get released into the atmosphere if they weren’t there. (I think politicians are the real cause of any global warming.)

Here’s a bit of the original article:

“I find it shocking we’d tell people with metallic testicles on their bumpers that this is a violation,” said Sen. Steve Geller, D-Hallandale. “There’s got to be better things for us to spend time debating.”

Now how bad is it that a Democrat is actually saying that the government has no place debating this? I think Steve Geller, D-Hallandale, should be the Democrat of the Week or something. Give that man a prize! (Of course, if the rest of them had a lick of sense, they’d be able to see that this is just about the stupidest thing they’ve debated in … oh, what? A week?)

Your taxes at work, folks.
